It's not WWF anymore chaps, but we do have it here, though I don't think it's anywhere near as popular as it is in the US, probably because of the popularity of football.
We don't have slim Jims here, but they sound a bit like peperami. My local garage doesn't sell breakfast rolls, but it does sell fried chicken. For a while there was an India guy working there who was a master at making the chicken coating, it was the best chicken around and there's a lot of chicken where I live.
I'm still not exactly sure what a breakfast roll is tbh, I'm gonna guess that it's bacon and egg in a soft white roll. I don't generally get up in time for breakfast unless I'm working, and on those days I don't have time for breakfast as I barely allow enough time to get to work without being late.

You basically take a full irish/english breakfast and stuff it in a baguetteBazz wrote:It's not WWF anymore chaps, but we do have it here, though I don't think it's anywhere near as popular as it is in the US, probably because of the popularity of football.

That sounds disgusting even though I still don't quite know what that is.thirdchildren wrote:You basically take a full irish/english breakfast and stuff it in a baguetteBazz wrote:It's not WWF anymore chaps, but we do have it here, though I don't think it's anywhere near as popular as it is in the US, probably because of the popularity of football.

You can't class sleep as a hangover cure, you get hangovers when you have to get up after a heavy night, sleeping it off is a luxury unavailable to most hangover sufferers. Also lettuce is a dubious one, can't say it's ever occurred to me to try it whilst hung over so I can't say it doesn't work, but I'm sceptical.

It sounds worse than it is, and i do prefer a good fry up, but on the go, or when you're too lazy, fuckin breakfast roll's are awesome, they're very irish though, only us could take something classy like a baguette and throw a full breakfast into itBazz wrote:Rashers of Bacon. That sounds like a good way to ruin an English breakfast to me, who the hell is it designed for? The Navvy on the go?
Although, i suppose it may have applications as a hangover cure, it'd still be better on a plate I think.

Water beats lettuce on points 1 and 2 and if you give a toss about point 3 you probably won't have a hang over in the first place. I think the RDM is shite at having a hang over and I challenge him to a drinking contest and hang over curing contest, in that order. The Robo D Monkey wrote:Lettuce is good because it offers three things:
1. It's easy to keep down.
2. There's lots of water in it, which is what you really need with a hangover.
3. Nutrition (as long as it's not Iceberg, which is basically like eating nothing). Vitamins and fiber are good for you!

The Chinese state circus is pretty wicked. The artists (and that's what they are) must train sooo hard, the things they do are amazing, and you can tell it's difficult because they didn't always nail it first time. There were a few fuck ups during the night, always on the really hard things, but if anything it made the night better because before they did it you'd think "no way, no one can do that it must be a trick" seeing the guy fall on his arse twice before he finally got it right made you appreciate that it's not trickery, it's just really really difficult and the guys are just amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone lucky enough to have them perform nearby, take someone you like because you'll have so much to talk about afterwards.
Also, when you book ringside seats you get to pick where you sit, sit in the seats head on to the front of the stage, even if they're further from the stage then the seats at the side, a lot of the stuff is aimed at seeing it from a certain perspective, being close but at the side is nice but you miss out on the effect of some things.
Overall I give the chinese state circus a massive 5 out of 5G's, I can't think of any way they could improve it.
