Go buy Phoenix Wright

Post by Asaroth Larot »

If you have a DS, you should buy this game.

After hearing all the good reviews I decided to pick this up.

And not only is the best game I've played for the DS, it's one of the best games I've played.

I only beat it a couple days ago and I miss it already and I can't help but feel it's a damn shame more people aren't playing this game.

If they released a sequel I would buy it in a second, but unfortunately regardless of all the good reveiws, the game isnt selling too well from what I hear (even though I had to wait to get mine because it had sold out which seems weird)

So all you DS owners should move your ass and support this game already

I wanted to support this when/if it came out in Europe but I guess I'll get it now as it's quite cheap on play-asia :E

Was going to buy it right now and paste up the confirmation but I already ordered from that site today and I'll feel ripped off paying for 2 sets of shipping ina day :sadpanda

Hey, it would've made a funny kind of sense if you were. I was just investigating the possibility.

Ok I'll post a quick review here
Though I dont want you getting hung up on it seeming like unfamiliar territory

Usually I would start out with a comparison to a similar game but I cant really think of one. Certain elements of the gameplay remind me of this hentai game I played called season of the sakura, but that's a really really poor comparison. Other elements remind me of an adventure game like king's quest or something. You have to look around and sort of solve puzzles by usoing the correct item(evidence) where is what I mean.

However what really makes the game shine is the presentation
The game really excels in getting you involved in whats going on in
As I mentioned I have a concentration disorder. Even though I play a lot of games I have trouble playing anything for more than an hour or 2. However I was able to play this literally from waking to sleeping one day.
It was very hard for me to just stop in the middle of one of the cases. You just feel compelled to keep going a lot like a good book you cant put down. The game seems to hit the perfect combo of comedy and drama

I heard people say the game was going to be short but thats a complete lie. It's actually a fairly decent sized game. I'd estimate 30-40 hours at least.

Possible reasons for you to be neil

1. neil was missing
2. You were british(Joei's not british!...I think)
3. You were a bit or possibly a lot of a clown: neil was a clown
4. neil and shaun were on very good terms when I left and you were the admin. In this scenario you were neil: He handed over the reins of sg to his friend neil which would explain why you were admin
5. But it was mostly that one pic of you reminded me of what I remembered neil looking like and then 1-4 came into place to support the possibility

Joei is British! He's a disservice to the name, as he hates tea (I would be a better Brit than you Joei :frust), but he's British.
The TBB offers you tea and biscuits. :tea

Since I'm getting a DS tomorrow... Yes, I know this as I've been a horrible vulture over the Christmas tree. :D

Anyway, since I'm getting one tomorrow, I do want to pick the game up at some point. :D It looks really cool.

Phoenix Wright is a :check game. Finished it a couple of months back, and now hoping that they'll release part 2 and 3. :(

Part 4 has a totally different new cast, so I'm a little skeptical about it. But... I think it'll be great as well. ^_^

Phoenix Wright = interactive book.

Its alright, but under no circumstances can this be called a game.

OBJECTION!!

That statement is clearly contradictory to this evidence!

Game
1. An activity providing entertainment or amusement; a pastime: party games; word games.

The game should be released in Europe in March or something, I thing. Along with a bunch of other games such as AC, the surgeon game, etc.

Case 3 was actually a little easy. :O

It fell into place much easier than case 2, for some reason.

There was still the highly satisfying moment of "OH! ...AHA!", though.

I love that feeling. Heh.

I also give this game the credit of getting my mom obsessed with a video game again. She hasn't liked much since the original Donkey Kong. :P
