We need to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this thread when it happens.

Damien

Definitely says it in your profile. Seems to be less info on mobile view.

We're all at level 99 of these ones

Damien

I'm a winner!

Damien

Enough to get to page 2G19

Damien

I finally played Toem last year. Under 5 hours and very engaging throughout.

Damien

You missed a whole day and a half of SG!

Damien

It’s pretty good so far and it doesn’t seem too reliant on the gimmick of the Final Fantasy nostalgia. The original cast hold their own while the classic Final Fantasy heroes are just battle partners.

Damien

Fake news!

Damien

SGRPG is the GTA6 killer!

Damien

Time to find out how many!

Damien

I bumped the SGRPG thread earlier. I think the latest version came out in like 2018.

Damien

2G18 is long enough ago now. Surely somebody has some nostalgia to get us to the next page!

Damien

Now you can post your ass on SG from your phone!

Damien

Wonder if the game could be embedded into the site

Damien

Bandworthy

Damien

I managed to force SGRPG to run on my Steam Deck a few months back but without this thread wasn’t sure if it was the latest version. It doesn’t display full screen and has the font glitch. Wonder if the same sort of technology that brought SG back could fix the game on modern platforms?

Big coincidence. Same!

Damien

Wonder who the first person to legit get band on SG2G26 will be?

Damien

I’d forgotten about history lessons.
We should try to revive the favourite of 2G + page number treads too.

Damien

Looks like we're missing quite a few smilies

Damien

These ones are less than a day old!

Damien

Y2K Christmas next! :santa

Damien

I've just been refreshing my SG bookmark wbu?

Damien

A new "2D" Final Fantasy game came out last week and it's pretty good. I feel Y2K SG would be raving about it, but is anybody else in 2G26 SG playing it?

Damien

Did you ever try the "finished" SGRPG?

Damien

Need a Jumpstation theme!

Damien

I logged in on my phoned and it somehow changed the theme to defauly phpBB so this is handy!

Damien

I had a dream that SG was back.

Damien

Grey Fox wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 10:00 pm We're also now on the latest version of phpBB so registrations are back open, and everything is "modern" tech wise.

All those modern Square Gamers lining up for an account!

Have we escape depacito?

Slumpiest slump!

Might have been your fault.
I'm 40+5 in a month!

Btw imgur is band in the UK (control) so everybody needs to use something else for their avatars and sigs or I have to keep seeing big blue boxes saying "CONTENT NOT VIEWABLE IN YOUR REGION"

Damien

Finally, proof that I did win (until now)!

Damien

We got SG back before we got GTA6!

Damien

Terranigma came out he4e the same week as DKC3.

Honourable mention of the original Pokémon games, even though I didn’t play them until the English versions came out much later.
