Anime Resources
Nyah~
Since (as Joei graciously pointed out) we don't like to explain things, so here's what you can do to help yourself, since we're all too suckass to help you.
News:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/
http://www.animeondvd.com/
http://natsumemaya.terminus.net.au/news.htm (pretty hardcore though, 95% Japanese news)
Information (synopses, reviews, ratings, etc.):
http://www.animenfo.com/
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/
http://www.animeacademy.com/
http://www.animeondvd.com/
http://www.anidb.net/
Downloads:
http://www.animesuki.com/ (unlicensed only, well organized)
http://www.tokyotosho.com/ (unorganized, but has all sorts of shit, including licensed)
http://a.scarywater.net/ (not as organized as suki, but usually updates a little sooner, unlicensed only)
http://www.baka-updates.com/ (licensed and unlicensed)
http://www.downloadanime.org/ (use as a last resort... slow to update)
http://www.anidb.net/ (helpful in that it has a database of fansub/ripping groups and their websites and/or IRC channels)
http://www.boxtorrents.com/ (a pretty good archive for old/licensed stuff... if it's up, that is)
Edit: http://www.tokyotosho.com/ (mirkx replacement)
Edit 2: http://www.datorrents.com/
Manga (not as extensive as anime):
http://www.animenfo.com/ (has info on some manga)
http://www.manganews.net/ (synopses, group lists, new releases)
http://www.dailymanga.org/ (same as above, but a little faster to update and more licensed releases listed)
I'll leave this open in case I'm missing anything major and someone points it out.

Re: Anime Resources
I'll throw in my favorite site:
http://subs.2ya.com
Database of subtitles for pretty much any asian film. Very handy. You can post your own subs or submit requests too.

EDIT: Unless you took it down.

Re: Anime Resources
Well, was thinking you had the Elfen Lied OST though I'm guessing not after reading your post again in the thread. Nevermind then.

I've always found that the two companies below can import pretty much any anime and manga you want. They're both been around for years and are really customer friendly and I know Otaku has offices in the Uk, the US and Japan. They do merchandise like soundtracks too:
Otaku - www.otaku.com
United Publications - www.up1.co.uk

www.datorrents.com seems to be up and coming
