The only real game I've played in the past week is Fire Emblem Fates, which only just came out in Europe. I'm enjoying it, but I feel with three entire quests and DLC to get through, I'm going to be playing it for a long time to come.
Before that, I played Yo-Kai Watch for a couple of weeks. There's a lot to see and do, and while I like the general presentation, I dislike the battle system and most of the monsters themselves. When I was in Japan last year, there was Yokai Watch stuff everywhere. Playing the game, I can see the appeal, but can also see why it hasn't managed to wipe out Pokémon.
Before that, I played through Bravely Second. All 70 hours of it. It's a very good RPG, with good characters, an interesting story and an amazing battle systems, slightly let down by mediocre dungeons and backtracking (though nowhere near the levels of backtracking as featured in Bravely Default).
I haven't played much on the home consoles lately. Did about 5 hours of Far Cry Primal, which I keep getting lost in. I also finished Assassins Creed Syndicate. It's the only Assassins Creed I've ever played. Only picked it up because of it's London setting. I actually found it a rather enjoyable, easy game, but can see why playing the same thing year after year would grate. If this game represents what London sued to like, they've totally fucking ruined it!
The most recent Wii U game I bought was Star Fox Zero. I think it's the quickest I've ever regretted purchasing a game. I just can't get over the controls. The game is a constant battle with the Wii Controller, making the game itself no fun
Pokkén Tournament is a good real fighting game, but I never touched it after finishing the story mode and unlocking all the characters and assist characters.
The other game I'm currently playing a lot of is Disney Tsum Tsum on mobile, though I don't recommend anybody get themselves hooked on a free-to-play match 3 puzzle game
