Maybe they've kept their forum the most up to date of all of us? They were definitely around back in 99. I'm not sure I ever checked out their forum (pretty sure I never regged there) but I definitely remember looking at their home page and news sometimes.

The main affiliate we had was Evapilot's site. FFsource? FF8source? Weirdly can't remember the name, but we had like linked forums or something.

I used to be "staff" on Square-net (in about 1999 until about 2002). Doesn't look like that still exists.

Despite being a mod/admin, I gave up on Square-net in 2000. Returned in 2002 to troll it with SGUK (Joei, Kat, Neil...). We got the other members there thinking we'd met on Square-net and were meeting IRL at SNUK.

We could try a different approach, I guess. I went ahead and registered. It's pretty easy. There is an activation email, which went into my spam folder, but it's automatic and works immediately.
