I could, but I'm not on the internet as much as I used to be back in the day. The 360 and Uni work has stolen my life

I don't think I've had the same computer for more than 2 years. First laptop had heat dissipation issues and kept BSoD'ing on me, first desktop couldn't run most Steam games, which I needed for Uni... the PC I've got now probably won't be upgraded for a good while, it does all I need it to do, and it's somewhat futureproofed too.

The same computer for 10 years?
What OS are you running, and what are the specs?
I still have my 10 year old speakers, but that's it.

God damn my laptop is sexy. Although as soon as I got it online it download a firmware update that killed WiFi, so I had to work some Sudo magic to get it going again. Silly Asus!
Srsly though, how in blazes have you had speakers for 10 years? Mine never last more than 2 before the circuitry dies and it just becomes permanent white noise.

Not worth talking about and also I don't remember. It's running Windows Me now. It was running Windows 98 when I got it, but during my junior year in college, my roommate was all like "you have to reinstall," because apparently not doing that was causing me a lot of problems. So I let him install that on my computer, because I know shit all about reinstalling and also I didn't have my Windows install disc I guess.

I bet you could use jew power and talk the store clerk down to 21.99.
Also, I am very pleased to see that Final Fantasy's new token black guy is in one of the SG9 banners.

This week on DS games Yuka has bought and will never finish: The World Ends With You
I don't know what Square were thinking but there's no way I can control two characters using two control schemes at the same time. Thankfully there's an auto so I can let one of them handle themselves.
Soundtracks nice though, very Jet Set Radio. It's quite addictive so far, and I'm doing pretty well at it.

Everybody I know that's actually got into playing it loves it (and continued playing after reaching the "end").
Funny you bought it the week the main character vanished from the SG banners

Yeah, it plays like Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, but faster, more fun, and not fucking annoying.
Heck, it rewards you for NOT playing it. I go to sleep, switch it on and it gives me ability points for the time elapsed.
It's a lot more fun that Contact. I haven't played that since I got it. It's too slow. Even Terranigma was faster.

I'm so sick of looking for research positions and getting turned down, I actually applied for a job that requires an "ability to occasionally work long hours outdoors, sometimes in extreme heat, and with stinging bees."
I may very well have found the most unpleasant research position on the planet.

Yeah, it's a lab in Florida that works with African bees. Since I have a background in entomology, I fit the qualifications they're looking for. You'd think more labs would need people that know how to handle viruses, bacteria, and animal cells, but that's clearly not the case.

When you say "African bees" do you mean pure African bees or Africanized bees, because if it's the latter.... that doesn't sound extremely safe.

Technically, that package was postmarked before Ash Wednesday, so I think it's still OK since those are pre-Lent Jaffa Cakes.
