Tenjou Tenge chapter 77 is out.
Oh! Great's story telling is really poor and the last three chapters have been very inconsistent. The overal flow of the storyline seesm very jumbled and it's hard to grasp what's going on most of the time.
At the end of chapter 75 we're given the impression that Nagi would be switching sides yet in chapter 77 it's the complete opposite.

His artwork keeps improving and the fish in this particular chapter was very impressive. The storyline regarding the main characters seems very jumbled while the storyline dealing with Shin was more coherent and made more sense (just the stuff behind all of that didn't make any sense). Even, the balance of the fighting techniques is very confusing as you try to compare the Dragon's gate to other things and it seems very unbalanced. How does Mitsuomi is his current state compare to the people who can access the Dragon's Gate? At this point it seems Nagi could hand Mitsuomi's ass to him.

I dunno, Mitsuomi's still a crazy badass. Anyone who can defeat Shin should be. I'm just wondering how Bob is fitting into all of this~

The fact is that Mitsuomi didn't even defeat Shin. During that one particular fight Shin wasn't even using the Ryuugan (Dragon's Eye) until the end and at that point Mitusomi was completely overwhelmed. So I don't know why everyone is giving him this kind of credit when he doesn't deserve it.

He still beat him.. it's something to be said for that, regardless of how he did it. Obviously I think Nagi is going to be more powerful than he is, but he's still the champ until someone knocks him off.

In the end Shin commited suicide after leaving Mistuomi in the fetal position. Mitsuomi in his improved state couldn't even handle Shin at full power for a few seconds. It was a one sided match showing that Shin was still the top fighter in his "berserk" state so in the end Mitsuomi never really defeated him. This brings me to another point. Many people have accused Mitsuomi of killing Shin even though Shin commited suicide. The argument could be made that his actions is what led to Shin to commit suicide even though the real root of all this is Maya herself.
