Man, I wish the artbook had Persona art in there. It's great they used Kaneko's demon designs again. The art for the majority of my party now is amazing.
doom we should do a fortune teller faq because her fortunes rule
Huh. I beat floor 59 boss easily with a healthy party. Being fatigued really makes a difference. o_O
I have rank 6 Magician Arcana (Kenji), and made a seriously awesome Sati that has both Mabufu and Agilon.
The July Full Moon event is in 6 days, but I'm pretty much done preparing. I've developed a schedule in the mean time, that I can use to balance out my S. Links. I've noticed a lot of recent Personae I have been making are like S. Link rank 1 or 2 or something, so I've decided to spread out my friendship equally.
Monday: Student Council
Tuesday: Art Club/Bebe
Wednesday: Yoko/Maiko
Thursday: Kendo Practice/Gourmet King
Friday: Kenji/Old Couple
Saturday: Chihiro
Sunday: MMORPG with Maya xD/shop on the tv network
Just when I decided to do this, I went and played with Maiko at the shrine and she introduces me to this guy who only appears on Sundays. Sigh.
I'm anticipating and getting goosebumps when it's almost time for a full moon event. Not because of the bosses - the full moon bosses are fucking push overs - but for the story. Oh man, oh man it is great to have mind fuck and horror thrown back into the SMT mix. DDS and Devil Summoner didn't have nearly as much as Nocturne or Persona 2.
34 hours in, and I just got into July. I'm preparing for Finals now. At the rate I'm going, it's taking about 12-15 hours per month.
I wish the arcana bosses were harder; the music owns. At least they're long so they give off the impression that they might be epic. There are some seriously brutal tower bosses though. Wait until you get to 110F...

I feel that using a guide really hurts the experience in this game. There's an FAQ to max every S.Link your first time through, but where's the fun in having pretty much a fixed schedule for the first three months, with nonsense such as resetting if you don't get the Academics boost at the shrine every day thrown in?
I can't help but feel that this comment was in reference to me. I am following the max s.link faq and it is sucking the fun out of the game but I can't find myself to deviate from the schedule. I still enjoy the game but the repetitiveness of building stats is quite annoying.
Well I have my own reasonings for using guides/faqs. I have far too many games that I would like to play but I think I don't have the time to get through them all. I'm not a person who needs to collect every little thing in a game. I just want to maximize the experience of the story and character development on my first play through so I'll use a faq to achieve that. I use faqs for Suikoden to collect all 108 stars so I can get the best possible ending. I'm using the faq for P3 so I can see all the social link events, as they are an interesting part of the game. I have plans to play P3 in Japanese so I can import the data over to P3 Fes so I can't spend too much time on the english version of P3.
Completed Persona 3 earlier today and that was one of the most satisfying endings I've seen in a long time for an RPG that is. It was executed in an interesting way and was quite long but it really ties the cast together. Most of the RPG's this year had good endings, FFXII and Tales of the Abyss come to mind, but it wasn't anything that makes you go wow. They had endings that tie up the game but nothing that makes them stand out from the rest. Persona 3's ending still furthers the character development and reaffirms the bonds the cast has made. It's so rewarding to see an RPG with a excellent cast of characters and I think the only other RPG that had such a great cast would be Tales of the Abyss. The only cast member that could be omitted would be Koromaru.
