I don't think the melodrama in Ryvius was necessarily bad. Most of the melodramatic scenes were well done, especially ones involving Izumi in later episodes. I also felt Ryvius presented a clearer message with the way society on board eventually degenerated. The only real problem I had with the characters in Ryvius was how Heiger suddenly had a massive erection when Izumi imposed martial law on the ship. Comparing the two is like comparing 1984 and Brave New World imo.

Those of you who know your Bebop albums in and out (as I do) will recognize only three new tracks (4, 10, and 11), but they're easily worth the download. All three are sung by Ilaria Graziano. Diamonds is in English and the other two are in French/Italian/whatever it is since I can't tell. All are slow, soothing numbers. In case you don't know who Ilaria is... *points to Valse de la Lune from Wolf's Rain and I Do/I Can't Be Cool from SAC 2nd Gig OSTs*

Of course, the other tracks are all classic Bebop tunes, and if you don't have them already, you don't have much of an excuse not to pick this up.

im watching gank right now. upto ep 5

i watch alot of anime. i just don't downloadn every single show that comes out weekly. and i usually just chat about anime to one of my friends. can't be arsed to write on forums about them.

I watch like 1 or 2 series per year now. I'd be lucky to finish them. Nothing just peaks my interest anymore. Plus regular TV shows are so much better.

Anime just sucks now, and i dont have the time to dl every single fucking thing to just HOPE that it might not suck ass.

Same with Manga, i just can't keep up anymore :< Though i try my best to stay ontop of Hajime no Ippo still. That and Berserk are probably the two manga i actively check up on, but Berserk only is released once every blue moon, and Ippo is done by Snoopycool, which means two to three releases a year tops.

Of those, I really only bother to watch Yakitate, One Piece, and DAQ.

I only d/l like 2 animes

(Eureka 7 and whatever other series I find).

I believe there is another group beside snoopycool who is doing Ippo and are way far ahead... they caught me by surprise and haven't been able to get any of the new chapters, but I'm way behind now (like by 50 chapters).

Also, another group got it going with 20th CB's, Beck still comes out once in a while, Berserk comes out once a month (new chapter just came out tonight) and OP is still great.

Incorrect. They were way far ahead before SC released like 18 volumes over the course of 2-3 months. SC is 50 or so chapters ahead of Ignition-One now.

Lucky Star ep 3 is out. Well, has been for a while. It's the same stuff as before, if you didn't like the "talking animu" before you won't like it now probably.

Anyway, I just hope that they're using this time to work on Haruhi season 2 at the same time. Since the current animation detail sure is lazy for KyoAni.

Verdict: all 5 of us were de~elighted by what we saw (and heard), for various but well-grounded reasons.
