And that's about it for SG day on the east coast, anyways.

eightman · Post by **eightman** » Sun Jul 21, 2019 3:37 am

West coast rules.

Hawaii still wins. I don't think we have any Hawaiians

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sun Jul 21, 2019 3:58 am

Someone thatnposted earlier had Hawaii as theirnlocation, I think. Don't know if it was for real.

You mean Reiji? SG's very own RL Wakka? Who even are you people?

Lord Golbez · Post by **Lord Golbez** » Sun Jul 21, 2019 5:01 am

Wakka wakka.

Yo! Where did you vanish to?

Asaroth Larot · Post by **Asaroth Larot** » Sun Jul 21, 2019 7:54 am

Nowhere really. It's the same reason I left last time. I started getting paranoid about progress and beating myself up emotionally about it. Im a neurotic mess of a person you know. Forums bring out the worst in my OCD, where I'll just obsessively sit there for like an hour refreshing SG just to see if there is new posts.

Golbez was in contact with me the whole time.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Sun Jul 21, 2019 8:13 am

Over the last year, SG has been generally busy with normally at least 6 different people posting each day. We've been getting through around a page of LPTPW a day and hit page 1,000 a couple of months back.
Not worth affecting your mental health for though. Hope you can still pop by once in a while. Maybe dig up the Game of 2G18 thread and see if you agree with our general consensus.

eightman · Post by **eightman** » Sun Jul 21, 2019 2:07 pm

I remember being somewhat concerned about crafting worthy posts.

Then I saw what everyone else is doing.

After that my standards sort of went dowhildkgjahuhuuhu.

Kind of like adulting. Stopped being so scared of fucking up and just get into it. Missed opportunities is usually the bigger fuck up.

The RDM carefully crafts every single post.

How many latecomers can we get before Thursday, when this thread is locked?

Fei Ayanami · Post by **Fei Ayanami** » Mon Jul 22, 2019 10:33 am

Depends how much money you’re willing to spend on advertising.

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Mon Jul 22, 2019 10:48 am

Facebook emailed me today, asking if I want to boost the "Happy SG Day" post for £24. On Facebook itself, they're suggesting I go for £45

WaWard · Post by **WaWard** » Mon Jul 22, 2019 11:20 am

Can't wait for SG Day 20th anniversary next weekend. Like if you can't wait

Azaael · Post by **Azaael** » Mon Jul 22, 2019 11:40 am

Wow I got this email!

Hey again doods, it be the old ElFenrir13(not to be confused with the other Fenrir)/AKA Lady Almasy which I think I was technically known for longer. So yeah.

...20 years are you godsdamn serious @.@

Anyway hope you've all been doing well! My little guy is five and about to enter 'bigger boy kindergarten'(in finland the kiddos start school for real when they're 7 in the 1st grade they call it) in a couple weeks. Mostly I am found playing XIV and fighting games a lot.

Nice to see everyone again!

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Mon Jul 22, 2019 12:11 pm

Welcome back! Happy SG Day+2!!

RDM · Post by **RDM** » Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:50 pm

Howdy!

Why is this thread locking on Thursday?

Damien · Post by **Damien** » Mon Jul 22, 2019 2:18 pm

Because it's a thread for chat on SG Day (and it was locked the following Thursday the last few years).

Anybody else notice any members snooping that didn't post?
Man of the Sea was viewing the forum on both Saturday and Sunday but didn't post.
Makes me wonder how many were doing the same, just not logged in

It is now the Thursday after SG Day.

That is all.
