True. It's not a cannon.

Is the next poll FAVOURITE FINAL FANTASY CANNON?
Can The Spirits Within's Zeus Cannon be an option?

Yes, but it won't win.

The Sister Ray will always win.

Too bad it's only FF or cannon travel cannons would win for sure!

I thought Cerberus was pretty legit considering it was such a useful GF.

As for Red XIII, I can accept the cat excuse.

The 4 in the list are certainly dogs and the characters treat them as such. Cerberus is a monster that resembles a dog and doesn't do normal dog things. Cerberus is also a long-running Final Fantasy enemy. Was even in Mystic Quest.

Cerberus is totally a dog though. And it's been around since way before Final Fantasy or Mystic Quest existed. :p

To be fair, it's also been an enemy for way longer than FF has existed.

It's a mythical beast that isn't treated like a dog by the characters.

We're getting at a deep philosophical question here:
dog is what???
I just did a CTRL+F on the FF dogs wiki page, and there's no mention on Cerberus on it. I'm happy in the knowledge that the combined editors of the Final Fantasy Wiki don't consider Cerberus a dog :p

They treat it the way Michael Vick treats a dog.

I propose we consult P. D. Eastman on this matter.

It's the first book I ever read myself, and this is literally the first time I've ever noticed that
the title is "Go, Dog. Go!" and not "Go, Dog, Go!"
Never heard of that book.

Anyway, this segregation implying Cerberus isn't a dog makes me sad. Just because he's a little different. Sad!
