I'm also replaying KH in Expert mode and losing - a lot.
When I'm back at Uni I'm gonna dig out my CoM cartridge and play that too. _________________ monsieur et madame, la parade monstrueuse! |

That's a good idea Yuka, I feel sorry for anyone who plays the last world of KHII without having played CoM. I can't even imagine how confusing that would be.
I beat the game yesterday, though I haven't completed the Journal yet. Still have to finish up a lot of the different world's minigames and for some reason Hades isn't making the Paradox Titan cup available to me...
Either way I've enjoyed this game, which is surprising considering how easy it would've been to get let down with my expectations as high as they were. If both Okami and FFXII fare as well this will be a great year in gaming for me. _________________ "Hell, this is my own life. How I decide to waste it is my own damn business" - Batou |

I dunno if I can bring myself to play Sora's story. I might just go for Riku's. I have no idea why, but I just found the controlled deck a lot more manageable than Sora's.
To be honest, I found Reverse/Rebirth a lot more fun that Sora's story ever was. I couldn't finish it for ages because I need ONE friggin' card to open the final door and I couldn't get it. _________________ monsieur et madame, la parade monstrueuse! |

I had that same problem with the card, Yuka. I ended up just giving up, and watched a movie someone made out of CoM. >__> Oh, the Riku-angst.
And, Pen, the Hades Paradox Titan cup requires... I believe, maxed Drive forms. Either maxed Drive, or maxed Summon levels. :3

That explains it, I've never used the summons let alone leveled them up. Thanks for the info.

Summons...leveling is boring, but it only takes about an hour.
Just go to Underdrome, summon, let all the bars run out, summon again, then when your drive bars are all gone, go into a cup, exit, and repeat.
Quicken by going to fight things in the first couple rooms. I just let them sit there, and turned the channel while I was doing it, went back, summoned, watched more TV.
Gogo for Poster Duty. 28.something is my record. _________________ My heart's a battleground~ |

I had to beat the Hades cup twice since the first time I was short on points by 340. Though I did manage to cut a half hour off my second run from the 2 hours I spent on the first. The 2nd seed goes by sooo much quicker if you eliminate Tifa first.
How’d you manage 28 seconds for Poster Duty Sephy? Do you have %100 of the Journal done? _________________ "Hell, this is my own life. How I decide to waste it is my own damn business" - Batou |

There's a great route for the poster duty, and as long as you NEVER TOUCH THE DAMN GROUND, it works.
And I mean, feet NEVER hit the floor. I had all the maxed drive abilities and it was pretty much jump, glide, jump, glide, ju--shit I hit a wall *restart*.
It took me about 40 minutes to finally get myself down to 28 seconds. Once I had like...30.01, and I like...hit my head on my coffee table out of frustration so hard, I hurt myself. _________________ My heart's a battleground~ |

29.46 Sephy. I did it right before I went to sleep.
If you spam Stitch's Ukulele ability during the Titan rule rounds (I believe it's rounds 11-19) you can get 10,000+ points right there. You can usually get the remaining 5,000 points just by fighting normally.
Which part are you refering too Kakeru, the actual fight or the event afterwards? _________________ "Hell, this is my own life. How I decide to waste it is my own damn business" - Batou |

Oh yeah, I know how to do it, I just keep losing to Pete. I keep like...200 points by the time I get to Pete, and then he ends up sucker punching me in the face multiple times, and when he hits me, her takes off like, 25 points or something lame like that.
I dunno. Just gotta try harder. :O

Thanks a bunch, as for Pete though just make sure to stay off the ground unless he has his shield up. As long as you're in the air when he rolls out his bombs and try to attack him from the rear as much as possible to avoid his counter-attack he goes down easily enough. _________________ "Hell, this is my own life. Heh heh...double posts. :O
I was randomly going through my stuff today, and watching KH1 cutscenes online...
Sora's KH2 silly face just doesn't compare with his KH1 silly face.
Case in point:
KH2 sillies:
(Accompanied by: Riku: I don't know how I can face them. Sora: Like thiiiiiis~)
Aaaaaaannnd...
KH1 sillies:
(Accompanied by "Eeeeeeeeeeee...eeee..eee...." ... *Goofy and Donald: "That's one funny face!")
KH1 wins hands down.
Anyway, random post 'cause I'm bored, and I remembered how retardedly silly KH1 Sora was. _________________ My heart's a battleground~ |

Not yet. I know I can do it, though.
I did up to the Cerberus cup part, and then completely forgot drive, and couldn't beat Cloud and Leon in time. I was like "Oh god, I'm an idiot.".
Then I went back and made sure I COULD do it (easy as pie once I remembered final form. *rolls eyes*), and I went from Cerberus to the end, to see if it was possible for me (it was).
Tomorrow, when I have a bit of time to set aside, I'm starting from Titian to the end and getting my Mickey stamp. _________________ My heart's a battleground~ |

Poster Duty for ya, Viresse. It'll still take you a little while to master it, probably. You'll eventually shave your time to under 30 seconds, though :3
Make sure you have max levels for your drives, though. You can't touch the floor pretty much, while you're doing the run. Good luck! _________________ My heart's a battleground~ |

I heard that they secured the rights to use the Pixar movies for the next game, however after seeing the secret ending I can't really imagine how they'll be able to keep the same formula of going from Disney world to Disney world with the setting they seem to be going for... _________________ "Hell, this is my own life. I never said it was impossible, in fact I was very surprised at how perfectly Squeenix stuck to the 'Another Side Another Story' blueprint considering the 3-4 years between KH and KHII.
Right down to Riku with his blindfold and the shooting star at Destiny Island
All I'm saying is that I seriously can't even imagine how KHIII is going to turn out story-wise with the formula that they're currently employing. _________________ "Hell, this is my own life. How I decide to waste it is my own damn business" - Batou |

You can do it! 100% gets!
I actually didn't play all the way through CoM. I got to the ending of Sora's story, but got fucked over. I didn't know you'd need that number 1 blue map card, and there was NO way I was going to spend HOURS searching for one, or start the game over.
So that's where my CoMing ended. I just watched a movie someone compiled over at KH-Vids to get the rest of it. _________________ My heart's a battleground~ |

Now you're being inconsistent
Put up with the Jiminy Jorunal requirements. But not with CoM?
Seems the same to me.
EDIT: Though Im just teasing. If youve already seen the storyparts I see no reason to replay that crappy game. |
