Oh, the avatar gallery?

It's a bad Photoshop job I did of Rydia. There's some pretty sweet CG artwork of the characters on the official DS remake site.
As soon as all the characters are up (few are missing) I'll have a bash at making a whole set.

Problem is though, I'd have to add transparency and blur the outlines of their head into it a bit, otherwise it'd be bit spoiled if there's bits of white around their head. So it'll look a bit blurry at the edge unless I/someone else thinks of a better way to do it. (As I really hate white corners on avatars)

All of the characters are a problem with their oversized heads. If they were going to remake FFIV with new character models, they should have gone for realistic graphics not this garbage.

Oh come now, they're not all that bad. You need oversized heads on the small screen so you can see the expressions better.

They could have scaled down the heads a bit though and left them looking like 3D versions of FF6 characters...

It'd be an improvement, I guess...

Anyway, I don't think it'd bother me that much, since it's FFIV, and it kicks all the ass. A shiny 3D remake would please me no end, so I can forgive the slight case of hydrocephalus.

Now, since I've got no assignments in tomorrow, I'm gonna have a bash at some FFIV avatars, even though the avatar gallery still won't obey me.

Well, it's not so bad. BTW, Square shouldn't know this, but if they ever make a remake where you can use Golbez, even just for the final battle, I will be forced to buy it....
