I'm not completely sure I know what a stranding game is, but I'm 100% sure if you can have your character shout out "I'm Sam" and he hears back "I'm Sam too," it's a stranding game. Does that happen in Toonic?

So I started playing the Steam port of Chrono Trigger on my Steam Deck™ and the port is a huge improvement over what it was.

buuuuuuuut how tf does a game like this have severe frame pacing issues?

Elden Ring was my most played PlayStation game this year. Followed by... Persona 5... which I STILL haven't finished!

I didn't ever play or get Elden Ring and probably never will. Souls games are not my thing. I'd guess my most played game was Horizon Forbidden West.

I'm playing FFXII the Zodiac Age™ on my Steam Deck™. I'm already futhest I've ever been, cuz I bought FFXII at the same time as my HDTV and the LOD was so bad I stopped.

Lol. Well maybe. But FF12 was the first FF I had to really push myself to complete despite not really liking it. It wasn't worth it and made me less inclined to do the same in the future.

I enjoyed XIII more than XII but I can see why people might have preferred XII to XIII.

I only played about 10 hours of FFXIII. I don't remember the exact amount but I stopped soon after Shiva. There were two things I really didn't like about. The gameplay up to that point was extremely limited. To the best of my recollection you had basically two options in battle and what you picked seemed to matter a lot less than just that you pick it as fast as possible. The other thing which was really what got me to stop was no towns. I need a fucking break from constant random battles.

Well, I remember Doom saying something like I quit before the gameplay got good, but 10 hours is a long time for a game to have such severely limited options. I would argue it's inexcusably long, even if the gameplay in the rest of the game were the best ever.

Idk, cause I didn't get that far. I thought Doom made it sound like I probably quit right before it got good though. This was years ago though. Like back when Doom still posted on SG years ago.

When I first played through the game in Japanese, I don't even think I knew that she was going to be a character in the game. Can't recall hearing anything about her prior to release.
