I got a promotion a few weeks back. Makes it harder to quit (though I am now on the same pay as I was on in London in like 2G15).

I quit in 2G10 months after I got a promotion after doing the job for almost two years and hardly a raise (it was like half a G).

Current hospital is trying to get me to apply for a promotion, but it is all business admin garbage and I've been pretty clear I want to stay in a clinician role because I purposely did not do an MBA and the job is the epitome of shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.

I hope I get this ICU position I applied for at another hospital.

I probably have enough to last about 3 years from the time I quit (hasn't been 1 yet), but that might be a bit off due to some unforeseen expenditures and like inflation and shit. Still there's almost no way I would run out before the end of 2G23. Even doing traveling as I intend. But hopefully I'll find some way to make some money this year.

To be fair, part of that money is money that's SUPPOSED to be for retirement (like I care), but I haven't dipped into that yet. I'd probably only be able to go like IDK maybe a year more, perhaps up to 2 years total including time already passed since I quit, without dipping into the retirement stuff.

I got a tentative job offer at a VA hospital in Boston. I'm doing the opposite of LG going into government instead of out. Assuming the tentative offer becomes official.

Quit time hopefully impending in the coming months.
