So yeah, sounds like our vacations overlap. Ours is 22->09

I guess we should ascertain: are trips to Japan a suitable topic for the Antipodes Thread?

Japan is an antipode of Argentina and Uruguay.

So only for SG Argentina 🇦🇷

We may continue discussing Japan as long as some discussion of Argentina and Uruguay is included.

Although he retired a few years ago, Uruguay had the world's best leader. For one, he lived in a normal small house instead of the presidential palace or whatever.

Wow Ward has been to antipodes! He may very well be winning the antipodes thread. Hard to say. Winning wasn't explained in this thread.

Have you been to the exact pair of antipodes or just to the countries in general?

What's the exact pair of antipodes? Shouldn't there be multiple antipodal points in each country. New Zealand lost to Portugal in the Antipode Match of 6/24/17, apparently. Thanks Google. Not what I was looking for though.

Well how precise do you want to go? The countries.
They arent large countries so I figure I must have overlapped.

Edit: auclkand nzs antipode is in the middle of Seville, Malaga, and Gibraltar. So probably within 100kms.

I don't know if 100 km is close enough for that, though.

An indie game called Pode was announced for the Switch. I wonder if it has antipodes in it.

Its collection of games is great. I really ought to play Fatigue of the Civilized. I hear its super linear and varied, and it only lasts 1 hour!

I guess Breath of the Wild. "Vigor of the Barbarians" does sound like what you'd get if you ran that title through a couple rounds of Google Translate, though.
