Been seeing tweets from the NYC Nintendo store. They're going to be making people queue up outside and even after that anybody wanting a SNES wii have to show I.D. and will only be able to pay with a card with their name on it
Our system of quickly navigating an overloaded website was better than that sounds, at least |

Yeah, FFII, CT, and DKC2 are just about all this needs to be perfect. Ok, there are a few other games that would be nice to add for completeness, but those are the only ones I really feel them missing. _________________ The TBB offers you tea and biscuits. |

I owned it and played it a decent amount. Only occasionally got to the point where your trainer gets kidnapped and you have to actually rescue him, or something like that. _________________

Yeah I'm not telling people to stop talking about it. I still think it's a prominent SNES game that could have easily made the cut. More so than Kirby's Dream Course, anyway. |

I'm pretty sure my brothers and I only reached that point once. Maybe twice. It was so bizarre at the time. Very serious/real-lifey feel to that part of the game versus 3D blinking hoops in the sky and fucking bouncy rocket packs! |

I first played it on emulator with a computer keyboard. I quickly moved on to a bad PC gamepad. I then played it on Dualshock and then iPhone screen.
This is the SNES version's official debut over here |

I've never even heard of people naming their consoles.
It's different (never referred to it as this), but my PS3 system name is "ps3 lol", but that's because I was an early adopter of the console and at launch there were pretty much no games worth playing on it, so I found it funny that I had one. |

Do they make you name your system? I guess I might have a name for it saved then, but I have no idea what it is, because I would have just filled something out to get through the setup. _________________ The TBB offers you tea and biscuits. |

I'd already made a list of roms to add when the thing got hacked. I may try it tonight (if the Overwatch Halloween update is delayed or sucks). |

Wii do. Haven't found the time yet (need to work out where you get SNES Roms in 2017 first), but when I eventually manage it/brick the console, I'll let you know in this thread. |

Successfully hacked!
ROM sites are a terrible pain to navigate and not every ROM I've loaded currently works, but it's a work in progress and I'll get there eventually. Wasn't that much faff really. |

I'm up there alongside Br4d. A few of the ROMs I loaded didn't work, but it's super easy to add and remove (just plug it into your computer and sync with the application. Takes about half a minute). Some ROMs may just be a bit dodgy. I'm sure somebody is working on 100% compatibility. Will eventually get Seiken Densetsu 3 and Final Fantasy V English versions running |

Doing the actual task isn't a pain at all. It's the crappy ROM sites that are a pain. I already had the ROMs somewhere, but couldn't be bothered to go find them. |

Honestly. After spending literally weeks trying to figure out how to hack BEMANI games to make them playable on my PC (including fucking with ports and setting up virtual servers and all sorts of shite like that), this was an absolute walk in the park. A 10 minute job, most of which is a progress bar within a user friendly application. It's almost enjoyable.
Adding more ROMs is even less fuss. You just plug it into your computer, drop the ROM in the list and then press sync (which takes about 5 seconds). |
