Okay, so I know most people here probably don't care about the political landscape in America, but the TBB is facing a deadly two pronged attack here. On the one hand, you have the "Tea Party" activists who are an antigovernment essentially conservative force who conspicuously only materialized after a democratic president came on scene although we've just had 8 years of a republican president doing many of the same things they complain about now. On the other hand, now we have a liberal counter movement which purports to offer a superior form of activism under the banner of coffee and just generally "not tea" related beverages.

Make no mistake, neither of these forces is a true ally of Tea and Biscuits or the spirit of the Brigade. The cleverly misnamed "Tea Party" celebrates the profligate dumping of tea into a harbor. It is no ally of true tea aficionados. Mosty likely, the majority of its members would never take a sip of tea or never bother with anything other than Lipton (probably of the iced variety). No, they would rather forsake the sacred traditions of tea drinking for the brew of their original founder, the ancient foe of the TBB, the Brewer, aka Samuel Adams. Further, their frequently violent rhetoric and militaristic worldview are inconsonant with the philosophy of the TBB.

So does that make the Coffee party, which espouses more unifying principles, an ally of the TBB? Perish the thought! A group so ready, eager even, to throw our beverage of choice to the wolves (wolves who would spit it out and toss it into the ocean), surely harbors no good will for the TBB. Instead, these two groups are seeking to divide and conquer the TBB. The one group tarnishes the name of tea, while the other tries to elevate coffee by linking it to some of our beloved principles. Make no mistake, this is the work of the Brewer and the CCC!

This is no time to stand by idly. The TBB must reclaim its leadership role in the area of global peace, hospitality, and the fostering of productive dialogue over a pot of tea and a plate of biscuits. Mobilize the Brigade!

But I like both coffee and tea. Sad
Coffee use is strictly for morning usage, however. Tea is all day and every day. teatime

That's how you get an invasion of "Masters."

By the way, one of the google ads for this page had teas that blossom with flowers as you brew. It's kind of interesting, but interesting enough to pay like $15 for 6 of them (it says you can steep each 3 times though)? Maybe one time to check it out someday. Not right now though.

We've had those before. The flower opens up as it soaks in the water.

That's a lie. No one;s even heard of the coffee party now and the tea party is fading into obscurity, now that it's become the white supremacist Donald Trump worship party. Now is the chance for tea to reemerge as the progressive beverage it truly is!

Maybe it's poll time? Personally, I drink both. I'm mostly a social coffee drinker though, whereas I will drink tea whenever.

Yeah. These guys have gross drink habits. That's why they only ever wanted to throw tea into the sea of put lipton bags on hats or something.
