I had a maple latte this morning. It's as nice as it sounds.

With all this coffee drinking there's not a lot of winning going on in this thread.

The coffees aren't for winning.

I'm back to green tea today. The excitement continues.

I haven't had tea or coffee since yesterday morning.

I'm considering a tea/coffee fast this week, but at the same time I know it's probably gonna give me headaches, so maybe it's not such a good idea. :/

I make tea nearly every day, but I make it for Chelsea while I'm making myself coffee.

The black tea I have been preparing lately is crme d'abricot. (The French is not to make it sound fancier, it's just Qubec.) It's quite a nice tea.

I want to visit Qubec one day. I hope I get the chance soon. Sad

I'm drinking green tea at a bakery waiting for a friend to go to march for science. He's quite late and seems to be making questionable transportation choices.

I did nothing overtly political today.

Apparently there are big lines of French expats voting in Montral today though!

Double bag earl grey!
Yesterday I was in Caffe Nero and an American guy asked if they had chai. The woman working there had no fucking idea what he was asking for.

To be fair, chai also just means tea, so it's a bit weird that it's used for a specific type of tea too.

I made earl grey cupcakes last week! They tasted amazing but were a bit on the dry side.

Today I'm back to peppermint tea. teatime

Care to share the recipe?

I didn't even have tea yesterday, it was too hot outside and I didn't have the time to make a jug of iced tea. I guess I should make tons this weekend to drink during the next week. Crazy NYC climate.

Apparently Chai is super common over here, which surprised me. I thought it was mostly an India/South East Asia thing. Anyway, I'm not complaining, although so far the chais I've had in NYC are nowhere near as good as the ones my Indian students used to make for me.

Some more rooibos. It's not the greatest, but it really does seem to help with seasonal allergy stuff. Not just hype

Jesus, why? You can just have two or three teas? How do you need it that strong? It seems like the third bag wouldn't even do anything.
