Of the groove bars?
Besides stratching out the tables?
Seems if nothing else it wouldnt hurt if they were a bit shorter...

It's unfair, you're the only one who has a custom groove

The avatar section of the template is at its default width. This means the rank bars haven't strecthed the table at all!

I actually tried to delete this thread right after damien posted way back when as soon as I relaized he was right and all the time he must have put in on these groove bars

But of course

You cant even delete your own threads!
Now there's a real suggestion

Give us back the power to delete our own threads!

It does sound like a good idea, but this can have terrible outcomes. This potentially gives the power for someone to close a thread, even if its really busy or/and funny. During our experiences with the "MOD OF THE WEEK" we've had incidents where newly appointed mods deleted a huge number of threads for no reason. People's posts counts dropped by 100s.

To eliminate such events we do it this way. If you want a thread deleted then ask Damien, Cal or a forum Mod. It's not that we dont trust people... er actually thats probably what it is.

With great power comes great responsibility, and not everyone can handle it!

So it's impossible to have the power to delete our own threads without also having the power to delete others if you were a mod is what youre saying?

Ok then

pretty much!

Annoyingly the person who starts a thread will delete all the other posts if they delete the 1st post. So if for example they didnt like where the topic was going, even though everyone else was enjoying the topic, they could delete it all! Sad

I don't really know what can be done about this.
On the one side the topic would be dead and post counts iminished if somebody thought it'd be funny to remove a popular thread they started a while back but on the other, if somebody posts a topic (in the wrong forum for example) by mistake, they can't do a thing about it.
