I am playing nintendo ds exclusively. Haven't turned on my 360 in 2 months since I beat Ninja Gaiden 2 or played Saints Row.

Next gen sucks my balls. Handheld gaming future!

I am playing:

Bangai-O Spirits - Hard as balls. I try to clear one stage a day. This is the hardest game I have played all year. Entirely different from the game called Bangai-O on Dreamcast!

Shiren the Wanderer - Hard as balls. Game is the standard for all roguelikes.

Ace Attorney 4 - Not as good as 1-3 but not bad either.

Final Fantasy IV - Awesome awesome remake. Pretty good difficulty.

Rocket Slime - Fun Zelda clone with Dragon Quest monsters as the main characters.

I have to beat all of these before September 9 when Yakuza 2 comes out. Well, except Bangai-O Spirits; there are 160 levels in that game and it's hard as balls. Dragon Quest IV comes out a week after Yakuza 2. I'm almost done with all of these ds games anyways.

When does Mega Man 9 come out in the USA? Some time in September right?

Pretty good difficulty? Pretty good. I've shelved it for a bit after being wiped out by a random encounter in the last area. You want it to be more difficult? Most of the game the difficulty is fine, but I think they made it too much at the end. The problem with FFIV is the sensitivity to initial conditions in battle. This isn't a big deal in previous versions, because generally it just means taking some more damage if the conditions are unfavorable. In this game though it can mean the difference between surviving a regular battle and not surviving.

Nope, not in China anymore... At the moment I'm in London and I've been back in Europe since June.

Moving to Macau soon though (ie not China, Macau is supposed to be a bit more civilised... ), gonna teach there for a year, and then I think I'll leave Asia for good. Maybe?

Anyway, whilst I'm in Macau I might buy a new console at some point, if anything really good is released? Otherwise I'll just stick to arcade gaming, like Bemani games and Time Crisis...

This weekend I have mostly been playing Buzz! and Singstar on the PS3, though I did download Galaga Legions, which seems pretty damn nice so far.

i'm so desperate for something to play, i'm considering shelling out the money for the ms points to get braid...

i'd have enough left over for bionic commando, but i played the demo and thought it was blegh.

anyone know how many points that penny arcade game goes for? the demo for that was somewhat entertaining.

What an overrated game. I've seen many claims that this game is 'art', but we all know that the 360 can't render art.

Crisis Core again. There was a sale at HMV so I actually bought it.

The only new games I've bought this year have been Final Fantasy sequels or remakes.

It's official. I'm an SE Whore Sad

The RDM played Wii fit.

It turns out, if the game is calibrated for someone 100 pounds heavier than you, some games become very very easy, while others become laughably difficult.
