Some of the stuff in tea is actually bad for you. It's not quite British coffee, but it's a bad habit and a bit addicting to boot. Of course I don't know how much weight this carries for ya considering that you don't like water either

But but...a lot of teas (i.e. green tea) contain caffeine just like soda pop and coffee. Might give you a short term kick, but you'll be tired a few hours later. Water=win (and they both start with "W" ).

Too late! Frust Also, caffeine's not really bad for you. It has some benefits anyway.

Also, yuka might want to get checked for rabies

tea, coffee, and chocolate are so damn addictive... Which means they do contain things that are good for you. But everything in excess is bad for health...
especially for old people. Should avoid MeTEAo at all cost

*Nods* Of course, addiction from tea is not the only threat though, at one point in my life I was addicted to those protein supplement drinks for the elderly (Ensure is like crack once you develop the taste for it).

Eh, why not, I was starting to get addicted to concentrated milk with added sugar, at some point. More a kid's stuff, though.

Quote:

Darjeeling Muscatel: Plucked in May and June, it is one of the best varieties of second flush Darjeeling tea. It has round, fruity, mature flavor. The leaves are dark brown with golden tip. Very smooth liquor with muscatel flavor. An all-day drink, best drunk without milk

hmmmmm.... that looks like some quality stuff Mr. Green

If you ever get the opportunity, I recommend that you try Yarrow tea. It is made from the leaves of the Yarrow, a plant that grows in a lot of different places, often mistaken for Queen Anne's Lace.

Anyway, a lot of it grows in New Mexico, and when I'm there during the summers, I gather a lot of the fresh leaves and steep them to make a strong medicinal tea. Make it strong enough, and you will feel a slight numbing sensation in your mouth.

By the way, some people will say that you can use all parts of the plant to acheive the same end, but I've found the leaves are the best. Those other people must be liars, hippies, or botanical salespeople.
