Maybe there's someone behind the mouse...a mouse dictator or something of the like, that killed one of its own intentionally in order to send a message. A death threat message.

Then you're plenty qualified.

The RDM did a little bit of Forensic Anthropology in his Sophmore year...but he didn't really learn much other than how to identify chairs by use-wear.

I wonder if high velocity catapult like rat traps have been invented. A mouse trap like that would be cool, albeit a little inhumane...but still cool.

I'm ashamed to say that after all my piss taking about your house being a dirty mouse hole there have been a couple of mice seen in my house recently. The first one I saw in the living room and I dove at and caught it in my hand but loosened my grip and it escaped. My dad and I spent about 15 minutes trying to catch it after that but were unsuccessful.
However last night I was making a sandwich with Alex and another mouse ran along the worktop in front of us in some kind of suicide bid/daring mouse extreme sport. I'm surprised at my reflexes seeing as I was completely plastered having been celebrating passing my driving test all day but I managed to grab it on the way past. It bit my hand and I let it go, however it's fate was sealed as I wasn't about to be bested by a mouse for a second time. I ran along the work top and pinned it down with a bread knife, I'd injured it by this point so had to kill it swiftly to avoid it suffering any more, so shouted at Alex to give me a sharp knife. Being a vegetarian the sharpest knife Alex was familiar with was a cheese knife which he handed to me, much to my disgust. I took a carving knife from the knife block and cut it's head off. It was very swift and probably the most humane way to kill it at that point (and cleaner then smashing it's face in).
I was filled with pride after this, a feeling which left me when I woke up sobar and realised it was just a mouse not a grizzly bear or something. Still, for your reference, that's how to kill a mouse.
Probably not everyone wants to see a decapitated mouse so I won't post a direct link to the pic I took (I was hammered). But for anyone who cares, this was the result of my hunt.
No mouse bites me and lives.
