Story Info:

"2307 AD.

As fossil fuels became exhausted, humanity found a new energy source to change their situation: A large-scale solar power system with three enormous orbiting elevators. However, only a few large countries and their allies reaped the benefits.

Three superpowers had ownership of the three orbiting elevators: The Union, based in the United States Of America, The People's Reform League, made up of China, Russia, and India, and Europe's AEU. The superpowers continue playing a large zero-sum game for their own dignity and respective prosperity. Even though it is the 24th century, humanity has yet to become one.

In this world where war has no end, a private militia appears advocating the eradication of war through force. Each possessing a mobile suit Gundam, they are Celestial Being. The armed intervention by the Gundams against all acts of war begins."

Famitsu's write-up indicates this MS has 7 blades. A close-combat, high-mobility, The GN particles eminated into the air cause radio wave interference and disrupt ordinary radar and communications.

Not that the RDM has watched much of anything Gundam related. He thinks he watched a couple of episodes of a Gundam with the number 86 in the title, if that exists.

They put it ahead of the others because it was, if I remember, the most recent Gundam tv series, it was also the Gundam that would have the most wide appeal to get the series popular here.

But to many Gundam fans who have watched the majority of the series, we place Wing near the middle or the bottom. Not that it was bad, it wasn't a GREAT Gundam either. Still, it was just perfect for being the west's first Gundam series exposure.

0083 is probably what you meant. or 08th MS team, or 0080.

The only problem with Wing is the stupid amount of filler. They practically dedicate an episode to what's going on from one characters perspective.

And two recap episodes, one after another? Puh-lease.

I dunno. Maybe it's my short attention span.
If I don't see Quatre for 5 episodes or something, when he does come back on, I have no idea what he's doing or what his current goal/motivation is.

I know it's got a lot of characters, and it'd be silly to try and cram current events for them all in one episode, it's just that I get lost pretty quick.

Haha, wow forgot all about this thread here.

After reaching the halfway mark, Gundam 00 is one of the best Gundams ever made. You can quote me on that. Of course, we don't know if it can sustain itself in the second season, but you do NOT want to miss out on this if you're a fan of Gundam/mecha.
