I just dled episode 1 of this..and watched it two times in a row. It's a fucking blast to watch.

The animation style is completely unique and always easy on the eyes. Characters have a multitude of textures and and whatever else on their clothes and hair and other features, it astounds you. Even if you don't like the story (FREAK!), the animation is enough to keep you hooked (atleast to me

).

This is a reimagination of The Count of Monte Cristo, in a futuristic Paris. You can figure out the story by yourself.

I'm not typing anything else up right now because I am lazy.

The ED makes me hyper. :frank

I fully enjoyed reading this in highschool.

I'm glad I am actually going to be able to enjoy watching this animated. At first the colors were actually a bit tricky with my eyes, but eventually I got used to the crazy plaids and various patterns they had going on.

As far as the story goes, well, I think it goes without saying

I'm defenitely interested and the music is by far the most impressive part of the first episode.

I've never read the story, so I don't have a clue what the fuck is going on, but god damn was that ever beautiful. If there was ever an anime that had to be seen to be believed, this is it.

i know nothing about monte cristo either :þ
wasnt hard figuring out that it was gonzo made, that was my first guess while watching it
very diffrent textures, yes. dunno why they did it really, other than to go :þ afterwards :O

I watched it and though it was rocking. The clothing textures were annoying at points (which is probably due to the massive headache I’ve got right now). I’m looking forward to more episodes. <3 for the ending. Do I see mecha?

hmm, this was a lot better than I was expecting, but obviously for all the wrong reasons. You guys love it for the art (which I'm feeling kind of indifferent to, I'm not wowed by it or anything) and the style.

The story is what's doing it for me so far.

No I've never read the book or watched the movies.
