Dissidia: Final Fantasy

Thought I'd start a topic on this game, as it's due out before the end of the year and I'm bored

Basically it's a fanboy-tastic fighting game for the PSP.
Announced characters include:
Warrior of Light, Garland, Frioniel, Emperor, Onion Knight, Cloud of Darkness, Golbez, Exdeath, Kefka, Sephiroth, Squall Leonhart, Ultimecia, Zidane Tribal, Kuja, Tidus, Jecht.
I guess there's a pattern there. It's probably safe to expect the main hero and main bad guy from each of the main series Final Fantasy titles (though no mention of XII or XIII yet).

Here's a Nomura picture of a few of the characters. Don't they all look lovely and gay?

I guess only time will tell if this will actually turn out to be a valid game, or just amount to some amusing fan service...
With this, Parasite Eve 3rd Birthday (what's with these stupid names?), and some Kingdom Hearts and FF13 shit, looks like the PSP might be the handheld for Square fans come next year Shock

No promotional material as of yet though. Wanna see it though, always thought his character design was rather cool.

its supposed to have more voice acting than crisis core.

not sure how when it;s just a fighting game!

i wanted to be Sin, not jecht

who really wants to play as Ultimecia!? some of the choices are poor. Give us characters we actually want to play as like.....Phoebe from mystic quest.

Hopefully that means it'll have lots of silly stories and endings like Tekken Mr. Green
