I don't necessarily think the movement is getting any bigger, it's just getting more vocal, and then we have our demogogue news morons like Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly fueling a pointless national debate that has no sense of legitimacy to it. _________________

What would lead you to think it's not getting any bigger? A frontrunner for the Republican Presidential nomination (Romney) is losing steam because a relatively unknown candidate (Huckabee) keeps pointing out that he's not really Christian. Debates over whether or not intelligent design (or in some cases creationism) pop up almost daily across the country, hell, one of the justices on the supreme court thinks ID should be taught in schools. Maybe the proponents of these movements aren't increasing in number, but they're certainly coming out of the woodwork. _________________ The RDM is responsible now.

| As much as I hate the idea of one of those socialist Democratic frontrunners becoming President, I hate even more the idea of that bible thumper becoming it. That'll be the day science dies in the US instead of merely being on life support as it currently is. |

No you are not the only one.
In fact, to me, all science has done is re-affirm the fact that there is something much greater, much more mysterious than we would have ever hoped.
What is gone to me, is the idea that God is a white man, with white beard and sandals who, selfishly (like a human) focuses only on our tiny little planet (out of the whole universe..) and toys with us. Anyone with common sense can see beyond dogma and primarily human structure of the church.
Everything we need to learn and evolve is in front of our eyes, from science to different religions and philosophies.
Religion, that is fanaticism of religion allows people to believe in something without hardly thinking for themselves. Gives them the right to condemn others, and blindly proclaim themselves as the only ones with knowledge of some god-given truth. |

Socialism is a dream.
The "if" factor if humans could actually live in harmony without some over-burdening structure (and I'm not just talking about government) to keep us in place.
jk i have no idea what im talking about
As for Bill Oreily and the other idiots on the air talking about nonsense, it is because they are paid to do so. Some friends I have always tell me how liberal the media is and all this bullshit. But I see NONE of the important issues ever being talked about on TV, all the good stuff is on the bottom ticker. And even then it is not enough.
It is because these ass clowns are paid to be artificially 'liberal' so as to give the illusion that all sides of the ball are being covered. Very clever, and methodical ways of posting stories.
Anyone see the movie Lions for Lambs? Incredible movie with alot of messages, unfortunately in todays time, it is impossible to get exposure or even publicity for a movie like this. |

Taken from Conservapedia.com:
"The following persons, organizations, television programs or media outlets have well known liberal bias:
The New York Times
ABC, CBS
Dan Rather
CNN
NBC News
LA Times
Michael Moore
The Daily Show
Real Time with Bill Maher
The United Nations
Washington Post
MSNBC"
Or maybe facts just have a liberal bias. _________________ The RDM is responsible now.

Some of those actually do have a liberal bias. On the other hand, a number of them actually have a conservative bias, but I suppose not having as pronounced a conservative bias as Fox News counts as having a liberal bias. _________________ Yuka offers you tea and biscuits |

The United Nations has no bias. It's just a conglomeration of countries with their own individual biases. The UN is only slightly less pathetic than the League of Nations (mostly on account of staying power). _________________ Yuka offers you tea and biscuits |

Well, the general rule is that you assume that your opinion is in the always in the middle, no matter what, and then you accuse people of being biased to the side you disagree with, while at the same time, actively denying that your beliefs exist on the opposite end of the spectrum.
That, or you don't believe there is a middle ground, in which case, you're a fucking moron. |

I usually characterize my beliefs as left. At least I did at first before I started seeing that really there are about as many left beliefs that I hate as ones I like, so now I categorize myself as simply a radical.
Perhaps that sounds weird to not place oneself on the middle ground, because that's often thought of as the right path, and so if you're in the right you must be in the middle, right? Well, that differs deeply from my worldview. In fact, I tend to look most down on moderates. They are lukewarm, so I will spit them out. /biblicalref _________________ Yuka offers you tea and biscuits |

Ha ha... when BBC2 broadcast Jerry Springer the Opera, Christian Voice tried to have the government make it illegal to broadcast under blasphemy laws.
However, Christian Voice is pretty much one guy with a laptop, so nobody pays any attention. |
