Holy fucking shit.
This series was utterly amazing. And it's not even over yet. Sadly, the next episodes will air "summer 2007" or something.
Plot twists? I haven't ever seen anything but convenient plot twist before this series. Geass slaps you on your face a good dozen (or almost) times with plot twists that actually make sense.
Holy fucking shit.
I haven't enjoyed any anime since Haruhi this much. And Haruhi was fucking amazing... but Geass might even be better.
Currently, there are 23 episodes out. Plus the recap episodes 8.5 and 17.5 which you can just skip if you want.
Holy fucking shit that was amazing. AMAZING _________________ This thread is crap. |

For example gg fansubs offers 1-12 in a torrent. I downloaded that and after watching two episodes, put all the rest to download as well
They didn't come fast enough, I actually had to sleep in between
It was depressing _________________ This thread is crap. |

Use torrents like the rest of the civilized world.
Or get DO back for an FTP, I'm not hosting one for you. _________________ This thread is crap. |

Fuck FTP. Either way, I'd need a computer to put it on. I don't have internet access in my apartment, so it's right out (the computer's right out too as it has a 6 gig HD and is on its last legs). I couldn't download the stuff onto my computer at work and even if I could download it at my family's house (where I am now), it would still be pretty useless to me, but given the slowness of the comp and all, I doubt I could do it anyway. _________________ Yuka offers you tea and biscuits |

Oh, so I guess you guys aren't complete nubs...
Yes this show owns, though I don't think a strict comparison to Haruhi is exactly a fair one.
But for what it's worth, Geass and Haruhi were part of a three-way tie for best TV series of 2006 at the Tokyo Animation Awards, along with Death Note. |

Very different genre, but on a scale from 1 to 10... they were both awesome _________________ This thread is crap. |

I'm guessing the last two episodes are delayed because they need the time to animate what I think will be a very hectic situation.
I remember reading somewhere that there is a season two in the works too. |

Haruhi is average animu overrated by the faggish otaku masses. If anyone puts Geass on Haruhi level, I might as not even give it a try due to that horrible comparison.
Next you'll be telling me Bakuratsu Tenshi or Negima or whatever the fuck is good anime while I proverbially shove a shiv up my penis while choking on my own semen.
The only reason I have interest in this is because Doom likes it.
And I love mecha. |

No, the last two episodes were delayed because they ran out of airtime. Thanks to the silly need for recaps (8.5 and 17.5), 24 and 25 were essentially boxed out.

Yup.
And about Haruhi, stop trying so hard to be a jaded reactionist, hkk. Your efforts are transparent and the reason why nobody takes you seriously. Overexposed? Definitely. Overrated? Maybe, but it sure as hell is not your typical show.
Like it or not, there's always going to be an occasional blockbuster that does to a substantial extent live up to its hype. |

Maybe it was explained more in the manga, but what is it with Jeremiah and Orange?
And where exactly did this come from?
‘I am the pulp of my orange.
Orange peels are my body , and orange juice is my blood.
I have squeezed OVER NINE THOUSAND!!! oranges.
Unknown to plot devices.
Nor known to plot holes.
Have withstood pain to squeeze so many oranges.
Yet, these hands will never hold Villetta’s boobs .
So as I pray, “Unlimited Orange Works”.’

OVER NINE THOUSAND?!!?
That's a 4chan meme.
Also, Unlimited Blade Works is from Fate Stay/Night anime. That's just another parody of it.
As far as I know it,
Lelouch meant nothing with the whole Orange thing. He said so at some point in the anime.
So... hi cybersuh! _________________ This thread is crap. |

There's got to be more to it. Some of the pictures in the youtube link look like they're from the manga and it seems to imply a wierd obsession with oranges. Not to mention the vat that Orange gets put in looks like it's filled with orange juice. |

My word doesn't count?
And cybersuh, that's fanart
The whole
"orange" thing blew out of proportion in the anime, it was bound to happen in fanart and fanfiction as well. As I said, Lelouch said to C.C. that "orange" was just something he threw in to confuse people. And it worked great. Hell, it worked on you
Oh, and something trivial about the blonde chick.
C.C. is how gg fansubs wrote her name as... but doesn't she always call herself "Cee-Two"? Well, the Japanese tend to say things like ^2 as -two. See: Pen^2 = Pen-Pen. Thus, I suppose C.C. is close enough?

Five minutes after I post that I browse 4chan and what do I see? This is worthy of a double post
Ever wonder where do (nick)names come from in Code Geass?
Viral marketing sure got me!

That's hilarious.
Orange has to mean something to Jeremiah, I mean why else would he get so pissed off when Zero calls him that?
A better question is why do I really care this much . |
